Trees are a recurring theme in my photographs. In many cultures they symbolize life and growth. Sometimes it seems that we have forgotten our links with nature. Trees are one of the most obvious of those links. |

Hidden
Constructions
Hidden constructions, hiding behind trees, the buildings we created confronted by the nature we destroy, claiming their place back from us. |

Water
Water make up about three quarters of our body. They are necessary for our life and soothing for our soul. Although they are made of single drops, they seem to be a single entity. They are both alive and inanimate. |

Leaf
From the falling leaves of autumn to the dry thorns of summer, leaves are around us, coloring our lives and delighting our soul. |

Hometown
Where do we come from? Where are we going? Our hometown is the place where our roots are. Like a tree, we grow out of our hometown, but remain rooted there forever. When our hometown changes, something in us die, and we know we can never go back, never be the same again. |

Sidewalk
As we step on the sidewalk, we leave our mark on it. Our shadow and the shadow of what we build is cast upon the sidewalk as the teeth of time gnaw through our cities, adding cracks here and there. |

Marble
Marble is considered the material of splendor. Buildings made of marble are considered rich and magnificent, but isn't richness just another one of the illusions of human existence? |
