Departure
(August
2004)
We
try to hold time in our hand, with departure breathing down our neck.
We try to catch the best of time, but we are always aware of the end.
We stroll through the ruins, trying to make sense in the bird of our
life before it goes on it's way.
I
started this on Bryce by
creating a desert material, and applying it to an endless plane. I used
Gothic Ruins from DAZ, uploading them to DAZ|Studio and bringing them
to Bryce through Turbo Importer. I changed the Sky & Fog
controls
to give an eery night time feel added some dramatic lighting using
various carefully placed spot lights. I posed Noggins Raven from DAZ at
DAZ|Studio then I placed another raven in a slightly different
position. I imported both ravens to Bryce, and changed the material of
the second one to create the elusion of a ravens soul escaping. I posed
the Michael 3.0 model from DAZ at DAZ|Studio, sculpted his face and his
body using various morphs, and added a hourglass in his hand. I
imported the model to Bryce, positioned him on the desert dune and
added some dramatic lighting, then I rendered the piece.
