Spheroid
(August
2004)
Facing
the Spheroid,
there's a light shining through. It's the light of knowledge, it's the
light of wisdom, it's the light shining through new technologies,
advancing the human race to a new horizon.
I
started by modeling the Spheroid using Wings 3D. I started with a
simple sphere, used the Cut and Connect command to create the polygons
I needed, then I used the Extrude command to get the final result. I
imported the Spheroid to Bryce, added two endless plains, on on the
bottom and one on top. I gave both the plains and the Spheroid a
material I created using Bryce presets and changing them, then I
changed the horizontal haze to yellow. I used DAZ|Studio to morph the
face of the Michael 3.0 model, then I imported him into Bryce. I
positioned everything and added a single yellow light, which I placed
inside the Spheroid. I changed the face color to yellow and rendered
the piece. The render took three days.
