Whale in Question (March 2004)

A smiling whale is painted on a stone, floating in front of a blanket of question marks. A lone tear falls from an unsuspecting eye, stuck on a pole on the bottom right corner. This is one of the two works used in my Dance of Electricity animation.

This piece was created using Photoshop and FreeHand. On the background I used a photograph I took of some tree roots. I used some Photoshop filters to give it the feel of pastels. The stone, the whale and the eye where painted in Photoshop using a Photoshop brush with wet edges turned on. The grid on the background was created using FreeHand.
