In this piece, I created an eye symbol, then I used the word "Eye" as a razor sharp shape, cutting the eye symbol. The contrast between the softness of the eye, and the razor sharpness of the word is also reflected for me in the use of contrasting black and white shapes. In this piece, I used the font Sharp Edge, which I created myself. It is one of the pieces I entered into the EBSQ "Alphabet: Typography Incorporated into Art" show.
